Are you eating shark fin soup too?
As a shark diver and shark advocate, the controversial shark finning industry is an industry I fight vehemently against. But in order to succeed in shark conservation, we must first adopt the ethical strictness of which we expect our major consumer nations to abide by. My latest post on Take Part discusses the prevalence of shark finning and shark meat consumption in western and european societies, and encourages all people to become active for sharks by asking their local and national fisheries to reduce their impacts on our ocean ecosystems by dropping sharks from the menu.
